Learning times tables can seem daunting to a child, and you can feel daunted just thinking of needing to teach your son or daughter their times tables! They tend to carry with them negative connotations, the belief being they are generally, boring, most and difficult of all frustrating, but this doesn’t have to be the case! – 2 times tables
· Don’t bite and try off more than you are able to chew! Stick to one at a time and start using the easier ones to encourage progress and to convince your child that it is achievable and they also can perform it!
· Rewarding your child’s progress learning may seem just like a no brainer! Will also encourage them in other things, although but by making sure rewards and encouragement are constant as your child progresses will encourage them to not only continue. They will come to realise if they apply and try themselves to something then it is achievable.

, as a way of learning so it will be less boring and more likely your kids can get the best from the time these are learning. There are lots of games on revision websites, that could benefit your child and can educate them within a fun and efficient way.
So its worth while finding out which way your child learns best rather than simply trying to enforce a method on them because if they are struggling this will only discourage them in their efforts and will have more setbacks than actual benefits, · Methods of Learning – Everyone learns differently.

· Discuss the patterns you can see so they your child understands the way that they are coming to the solution they do, rather than just saying whatever they think you need to hear.
Times tables are the basis on which children learn further math’s skills as they go and develop through school, so it is important they not only learn them off by heart, but also know how they are getting to the answers. This can give them the skills they should work out other problems they may be given in class. The quicker they grasp their times tables the quicker they will be able to exercise harder and more complex solutions independently.
Unfortunately sometimes students can miss out on completely grasping their times tables which can cause problems down the road once they begin studying for important exams.
